As part of Enterprise Week, Young Enterprise Northern Ireland hosted ‘Digital Industry Masterclass’ in partnership with Newtownabbey Borough Council at Mossley Mill. Students were tasked with the challenge to come up with a smartphone application to help young people. Abbey Community College students achieved first place against four other participant schools. The winning group proposed a smartphone app ‘Steps to Success’ which looked at helping students with their GCSE’s.

The new Head Boy and Head Girl welcomed the University Road Show to Abbey Community College. All Sixth Form Students enjoyed the presentation on the UCAS procedure and Student Finance.
